English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education, possess effective communication skills, and create a positive and engaging learning environment for students of various proficiency levels.


This role is subject to seasonal and/or flexible employment, depending on student’s availability. Residential and non-residential opportunities are available during peak periods.

Must Have

  • Must hold CELTA, DELTA, TEFLI, or TEFLQ qualification.
  • Proven experience as an EFL teacher with a successful track record.
  • Knowledge of teaching methodologies and assessment practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid work permit for United Kingdom
  • Clear and valid Enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Delivery:
    Produce lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and cater to the language proficiency levels of diverse student groups.
  • Classroom Instruction:
    Deliver engaging and interactive English language lessons that focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
    Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assessment and Feedback:
    Track and evaluate students' language proficiency and progress.
    Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents or guardians.
  • Cultural Integration:
    Foster an appreciation for cultural diversity by incorporating cultural elements into lessons.
    Encourage open discussions on cultural topics to enhance language learning experiences.
  • Technology Integration:
    Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and engage students.
    Integrate online platforms and digital tools to support language learning outside the classroom.
  • Classroom Management:
    Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
    Effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a conducive space for learning.
  • Professional Development:
    Stay updated on best practices in language teaching and participate in professional development opportunities.
    Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and enhance teaching methodologies.
  • Parental Communication:
    Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students' progress and achievements.
    Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other communication channels.
  • Extracurricular Activities:
    Encourage and participate in extracurricular related activities.
    Assist with social programme delivery.
